Tor Hitchcox is Dr Jonn Mumford's senior most active teacher, having completed nearly 18 years of personal study and association with him.

He commenced training with Dr Jonn Mumford in 1997, and accompanied Dr Mumford for 7 years to further his studies at Ananda Ashram, Pondicherry, South India. Tor also travelled through India, and independently visited the Bihar School of Yoga several times. Dr Mumford chose him to initiate into the esoteric aspects of Mantra anesthesia and the Shat Kriyas.

Tor currently conducts spiritual tours of Tantric temples annually with his wife, Ambikananda - her website is Kriya Tantra in Slovenia - Ambikananda's Teaching Centre
In 1999 Tor undertook Mind Magic Teacher Training and became a qualified transmitter of Dr Mumford's methods. He is also a devoted practitioner of martial arts for 14 years, studying with Master Sun Da Fa (a noted Chinese adept of Kung Fu, resident in Australia for many years), among others.
He has been teaching traditional Shat Kriya (internal cleansing practices of Hatha Yoga) at Kriya Tantra Yoga School in Slovenia for many years.
