Dr Jonn Mumford's OM-Kara Kriya Graduate Teachers' Register

AN INDEPENDENT WESTERN MYSTERY SCHOOL THROUGH EASTERN PORTALS

Susie Ascott:
2nd Year OM-Kara Kriya® Graduate

Susie Ascott is a Life Coach and Hatha Yoga teacher and student.

She began coaching in 1997, on a part time basis, and soon realised that she had found her passion. In July of 2001, she left her well paid, “safe” corporate position to set up her own life coaching business “Present Perfect” www.presentperfect.com.au.

Having practiced yoga asanas “on and off” for 35 years Susie decided that the best way to increase her practice was to commit to a Yoga Teacher Training course.  She completed her training with Friends in Yoga (FinY) Inc, graduating in 2007, and soon found that she loved teaching yoga.

Enrolling in Om Kara Kriya training with  Dr Jonn Mumford was a spur of the moment, intuitive decision. “This experience, of learning from Dr Mumford, is a continual source of joy and nourishment.”

Susie's yoga classes are “mixed-level” underpinning her belief that Yoga is for everyone, regardless of fitness level, age or flexibility. The photo shows two of her students, Alex, in his 20s and Barbara in her 70s, practicing assisted Childs Pose together.

Her approach to teaching yoga, like her lifestyle, is relaxed, but focused. “If we are breathing and smiling we are practicing Yoga.”

Susie considers herself to be a perpetual student, enrolled in the University of Life: curious, enthusiastic, grateful and continually learning and experiencing.

“Everyone and everything is our teacher”
